About the role:
As a database SRE you will:
• Focus on performance, scalability and reliability on business wide Postgres databases
• Design, build, and maintain SQL and NoSQL databases to support global trading infrastructure and large-scale research
• Investigate and improve performance of PostgreSQL
• Engineer and apply infrastructure-as-code tools and services
Key responsibilities:
• Design, build, and maintain SQL/NoSQL databases for global trading and research
• Optimize PostgreSQL/MySQL for real-time workflows
• Enhance performance on Debian Linux
• Implement infrastructure-as-code (Salt, Terraform)
• Develop proof-of-concept datastores for specific use cases
To excel in this role you should have:
• 5+ years in database management and infrastructure engineering
• Expert in designing and implementing production database infrastructure
• Solid familiarity with state-of-the-art DB technologies
• Strong knowledge and experience with Linux, particularly Debian
• Extensive experience with PostgreSQL
• Skilled in performance troubleshooting and networking
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with global teams
